What are the benefits?

Burns More Calories than Running
For every hour we run, it's estimated we burn 300 calories. During the same amount of time Plogging burns 330 calories! Plus when you consider all the squatting and heavy lifting whilst running, it's actually a complete workout!
A Great way to make new connections!
What better way to connect with new people than to join a running club?! Sure, it might not be a running club in the conventional sense, but it's still a great way to network and connect with new people!



Protects our precious Wildlife
By removing litter, plogging reduces the risk of animals ingesting harmful waste or getting entangled in debris, helping to protect local wildlife and maintain the health of ecosystems. This simple act of picking up trash while plogging can prevent long-term harm to animals and contribute to cleaner, safer natural environments.
a great way to raise awareness
Our plogging events are predominantly done in urban areas, increasing the number of people who are made aware of what we're doing. Not only that, but we often plog along the harbour or in areas with photogenic areas. Perfect for Instagram enthusiasts!
